Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are the only two games with any sort of interesting lore. Dark Souls 2 is haphazard fragmented bullshit like everything else in the game, and Dark Souls 3 has a few interesting features but overall lacks the freshness of the first two games.

Johnny Cash does nothing for me vocally and never has in really any of his stuff. Consequently Hurt has one of the worst vocal performances on The Downward Spiral as well. But musically, NIN's version is a lot more interesting and layered. The hollow spooky machinery sounds, white noise and the jarring change in volume during the climax of the song really give it a huge amount of atmosphere. For that reason I'll take the NIN version any day.

Elements are easy. The better/stronger ones have to be allocated further up the grid. By default it will try and place it on its minimum value and going any lower puts a negative beside it. Just try to use stuff higher along the grid and try to use the opposite of your enemys color

People who hate poor people enough that they get pissed off that they're getting a 99 cent bag of great value doritos and a two liter for their kids or for themselves or whatever are pretty awful. Having to get food stamps doesn't preclude you or your family from enjoying snacks like everyone else, and them purchasing them doesn't affect you any more than them getting any other type of food. Sonic 2 was the one Genesis sonic game I didn't own and would frequently rent for whatever reason.

It has a better flow than either of the others; the only real downswing is Metropolis Zone which is really annoying and too long, but otherwise it's more consistent to me than Sonic 1 or Sonic 3.

It's shocking how much Dragonforce improved after they got rid of their original vocalist. They went from stuff like Inhuman Rampage where you literally could not tell when one noodling song ended and another began, to an actually pretty respectable power metal band with song structures beyond going 20000mph.

For the time, it was probably the most charming and best looking game of its kind localized to the US. There are way prettier jrpgs you can find on the super famicom, but not here.That and the story is very simplistic, has cute characters, and interesting enough events to keep you going which has been a winning formula even as recent as games like Undertale.
